Abandoned Love

My friends and I went touring around the small towns I live around, Pefferlaw ON. We went to an old abandoned house in Beaverton ON. Kaleigh Middelkoop, Jess Chandler, and myself walked into this old house and right away fell in love. The house was demolished. Wall paper pealing off, broken glass everywhere, just such a beautiful disaster.

We all took some images, but I photographer Jess a lot in an old curtain we found in the house, although it was freezing and cold, she did an amazing job, such a trouper!

This is one image I captured.

After photographing that house and making Jess freeze, we grabbed a hot chocolate from timmies and continued our adventure. Just down the road we found a broken down barn. The foundation of a house was there, but seemed to be burnt down. The barn was ready to fall, but we climbed up anyways. After looking all around the property, I found an old broken tv, and also a broken window frame, which gave me a ghostly idea. Check it out!

FASHION

In my Portfolio Development Class last week, we had models from Angie's Models to model for us. It was a fashion work shop. My group and I photographed 3 beautiful young ladies. I thought i'd share some images I took at the work shop.

This is Camille, she is 15 years old. She has been modelling for less then a year! She was great.

Inspiration

We are all inspired by something, or someone. Things that have happened to us in our lives, or the people we meet, that help form who we are.

My classmate, and good friend Kaleigh Middelkoop, has inspired me to chase my dream and follow through with my imagination and ideas. She shows me that, if I can imagine a way I want a photograph to turn out as, I can do it. Her ability, to not only be an amazing person, but an incredible photographer, will inspire me forever. Last Semester of School!

We are in our last semester of school. After finishing 6 images for my pre-portfolio, I now have a good idea of what I want in my final portfolio. I have to do 12 images. Most of them will be assignments, but I do have a few images to show my own personal touch. I am so excited to put all my work together!

First Day

So, I am starting this blog to show some of the work I will be doing in my second year of college at Algonquin College. I am studying photography, and I am enjoying the program a lot. I am looking forward to seeing comments and ideas from my followers and friends.
